वरिष्ठ नागरिक ध्यान रखें और जान बचाएँ

- अपने घर में सुरक्षा के इंतजाम पुख्ता करें। मसलन, दरवाजे में मैजिक आई, डबल डोर, बालकनी में लोहे की ग्रिल, खिड़की में डबल ग्रिल इत्यादि लगवा सकते हैं।

- अनजान लोगों पर कतई भरोसा न करें। यदि कोई अनजान शख्स कुरियर देने, केबल ठीक करने या किसी अन्य काम से घर आता है, तो पहले उसकी पहचान पुख्ता कर लें, तभी दरवाजा खोलें।

- घर में काम करने वाले नौकर, ड्राइवर, खाना बनाने वाले या किराये पर रहने वाले लोगों का तुरंत पुलिस वेरिफिकेशन करवाएं।

कोशिश करें कि घर में ज्यादा कैश व जूलरी न रखें।

- अगर घर में किसी इलेक्ट्रिशन, प्लंबर, बढ़ई, राजमिस्त्री आदि से कोई काम करवा रहे हैं, तो उस दौरान किसी परिचित को या पुलिस को मदद के लिए बुला लें, ताकि कोई आपके अकेलेपन का गलत फायदा न उठाने पाए।

- पुलिस की सीनियर सिटिजन सेल में रजिस्ट्रेशन करवाएं।

- इलाके के बीट कॉन्स्टेबल के संपर्क में रहें और उसका व उसके वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों का नंबर अपने साथ रखें।

- बुजुर्गों के कल्याण लिए काम करने वाली गैर सरकारी संस्थाओं से भी मदद ले सकते हैं।

- आपात स्थिति में हेल्पलाइन या 100 नंबर पर कॉल करें।

दसवीं की परीक्षा के बाद शिक्षा निदेशालय दस वोकेशनल कोर्स की सौगात लेकर आ रहा है , वह भी मुफ्त में। शिक्षा निदेशालय ने दसवीं के छात्रों के लिए परीक्षा के बाद और रिजल्ट आने के बीच के समय का बेहतर इस्तेमाल कराने की पूरी तैयारी कर ली है। दसवीं की परीक्षा देने के बाद छात्र चाहें इंफॉरमेशन एंड कम्युनिकेशन तकनीक का कोर्स कर सकते हैं या फिर ब्यूटी कल्चर एंड हेयर ड्रेसिंग का। इसके अलावा ऑटोमोटिव रिपेयर एंड ड्राइविंग, गारमेंट मेकिंग, ट्रेवल एंड टूरिज्म सहित इलेक्ट्रिकल और इलेक्ट्रिॉनिक्स कोर्स को भी शामिल किए गए हैं।

शिक्षा निदेशालय ने पिछले साल बारहवीं की परीक्षा दे चुके छात्रों को व्यावसायिक कोर्स कराया था। लेकिन इस बार निदेशालय ने दसवीं की परीक्षा दे चुके छात्रों को भी छुट्टियों के दौरान व्यावसायिक कोर्स कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की है। इस कार्यक्रम में सरकारी स्कूल में पढ़ रहे दसवीं के सभी छात्रों को परीक्षा के बाद वोकेशनल कोर्स मुफ्त में प्रदान किए जाएंगे।

पिछले साल 12वीं के 4429 छात्रों ने लगभग छह कोर्सो के लिए दाखिला लिया था। 4123 छात्रों ने सफलता के साथ कोर्स पूरा किया और इन्हें केंद्रीय श्रम मंत्रालय ने प्रमाण पत्र दिया। दसवीं के बाद कोर्स के लिए सभी सरकारी स्कूलों को सरकुलर भेज दिया गया है। स्कूलों को आठ जनवरी से पहले सभी छात्रों के नाम व चुने गए कोर्स बताने को कहा गया है। छात्र को दो महीने में लगभग 150 से 250 घटे की व्यासायिक शिक्षा प्रदान की जाएगी। दसवीं के छात्रों को इंफोरमेशन एंड कम्यूनिकेशन टेकनेलजी, ब्यूटी कलचर एंड हेयर ड्रेससिंग, ऑटोमोटिव रिपेयर एंड ड्राइविंग, गार्मेट मेकिंग, ट्रेवल एंड टूरिज्म, इलेक्ट्रिकल, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, इडियन स्वीट्स स्नैक्स एंड फूड, रेफ्रिजरेशन एंड एयरकंडिंशन और रिटेल के कोर्स उपलब्ध होंगे।

ਅਰਥ: ਦੁੱਖ ਦਵਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖ ਬੀਮਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਲਈ ਚਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ। ਤੂੰ ਕਰਨਹਾਰ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਕੁੱਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ। ਜੇਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਕੁੱਝ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਵੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਕੁੱਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ। ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉਤੋਂ। ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਸਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੇਰਾ ਅੰਤ ਜਾਣਿਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ। ਠਹਿਰਾਓ। ਜੀਵਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੇਰੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੀਵ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਸਮਰਥ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰੀ-ਪੂਰਨ ਹੈ। ਤੂੰ ਸੱਚਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹੈ। ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ ਤੇਰੀ ਕੀਰਤੀ। ਜੋ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਾਰ ਉਤਾਰਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਨਾਨਕ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਾਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੁੱਝ ਹਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

स्कूलों में नहीं बनेंगे नौवीं के पेपर

केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (सीबीएसई) में इस साल से बड़े बदलाव शुरू हो गये हैं। जहां दसवीं क्लास की परीक्षाएं अगले वर्ष से वैकल्पिक हो जायेंगी। वहीं नौवीं कक्षा में भी बड़े परिवर्तन के संकेत हैं। नौवीं की परीक्षा में नई बात यह होगी कि इस साल वार्षिक परीक्षा के सभी पेपर बोर्ड स्वयं बनाएगा। यानी अब विद्यालय केवल मूल्यांकन करेंगे पेपर बनाने की जिम्मेदारी बोर्ड के बनाये हुए पैनल पर होगी। गत दिनों दिल्ली में आयोजित के प्रधानाचार्यो की बैठक में इस रणनीति को अंतिम रूप दिया गया। ।

शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता के लिये चोला बदलते सीबीएसई ने नौंवी की परीक्षा में प्रश्नपत्र तैयार करने की जिम्मेदारी अपने हाथों में ले ली है। ऐसा विद्यालयों में पढ़ाये जा रहे पाठ्यक्रमों के परीक्षण के साथ परीक्षा में गुणवत्ता लाने के लिये किया जा रहा है। कार्यशाला में प्रतिभाग करने गईं महर्षि पतंजलि विद्यामंदिर की प्रधानाचार्या सुष्मिता कानूनगो के अनुसार नौवीं की परीक्षा आब सेमीबोर्ड होगी। बोर्ड की इस पहल से स्कूलों में समग्र पाठ्यक्रम के अध्यापन की समीक्षा की जा सकेगी। इसके साथ विद्यालय के अध्यापकों से ट्यूशन पढ़ने वाले बच्चों को प्रश्नपत्र का प्रारूप भी नहीं पता चल पायेगा। इस पहल से कालेजों में पढ़ाए गये सेलेबस की जानकारी मिल पाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि सेलेबस की जानकारी सत्र के शुरूआत में ही एनसीईआरटी की वेबसाइट पर एवं कोर्स कैरिकुलम के साथ उपलब्ध करा दी जायेगी। इसके अतिरिक्त छात्रों के अंक स्कूली गतिविधियों पर भी निर्भर करेंगे। परिणाम के लिये सतत विस्तृत मूल्यांकन (सीसीई) को भी आधार बनाया जायेगा। विद्यालय ही स्टूडेंट का परीक्षण करेंगे। शिक्षणेत्तर क्रियाकलापों जैसे खेलकूद, स्काउट-गाइड, योग, बागबानी, स्वास्थ्य, शारीरिक शिक्षा के पांच प्वाइंट भी ग्रेड में समाहित किये जायेंगे। होम असाइनमेंट के लिए बोर्ड की तर्ज पर स्कूल ही प्रश्नबैंक तैयार करेगा जबकि इंटरनल असेसमेंट कक्षा कार्यो के आधार पर किया जायेगा। गृहकार्य, मौखिक प्रश्न, क्विज, प्रोजेक्ट, एसाइनमेंट सहित आवश्यक सृजनात्मक गतिविधियों के आधार पर अंकों का निर्धारण किया जा सकता है। समग्र परीक्षा में छात्रों के अंक दो भागों में विभक्त होंगे। स्टूडेंट की परफार्रमेंस और टर्म को ध्यान देते हुए उन्हें प्वाइंट दिया जायेगा।

दुबई की शान : बुर्ज खलीफा

जो 'बुर्ज दुबई' दुबई की शान बनने वाला था, सोमवार को उद्घाटन अवसर पर अचानक उसका नाम बदल दिया गया। विश्व की सबसे ऊंची इमारत 'बुर्ज दुबई' का उद्घाटन करते हुए दुबई के शाह मोहम्मद ने इसका नाम 'बुर्ज खलीफा' कर दिया और इसे संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के राष्ट्रपति शेख खलीफा बिन जईद अल नाहयान को समर्पित कर दिया।

सुनने वाले लोग चौंके आखिर ऐसा क्या हुआ, जो आखिरी समय पर ऐसा किया गया। जानकारों का कहना है कि असल में दुबई को पिछले दिनों आए आर्थिक संकट की कीमत चुकानी पड़ी है। शेख खलीफा ने ही दुबई को आर्थिक संकट से उबारने में मदद की थी।

उल्लेखनीय है कि पिछले 12 महीनों में दुबई में अचल संपत्तिके दामों में जमकर गिरावट आई। हाल ही में रियल स्टेट के कीमतें 50 फीसदी तक नीचे गिर गईं थीं। ऐसे में, दुबई को इस संकट से बाहर निकालने के लिए पड़ोसी, अबु धाबी ने 25 अरब डालर [करीब 1 खरब रुपये] की सहायता दी थी। इसके पीछे राष्ट्रपति शेख खलीफा की पहल को ही मुख्य माना जा रहा है। उल्लेखनीय है कि शेख खलीफा का परिवार अमीरात का मुख्य राजसी परिवार है और राजधानी अबू धाबी में रहता है। अबू धाबी संयुक्त अरब अमीरात, दुबई के बाद दूसरा सबसे बड़ा शहर है।

असल में, दुबई की आर्थिक संपन्नता का इस क्षेत्र में प्रभाव है कि इसे कई बार 'दुबई इस्टेट' कह कर, बाकी अमिरात से अलग भी संबोधित किया जाता है। ऐसे में 'बुर्ज दुबई' दुबई को दुनिया में अमीरात से एक लगभग स्वतंत्र पहचान दिला सकता था। परंतु बीते हफ्तों से इस बात की आशंका जताई जा रही थी कि अबु धाबी किस हद तक बढ़ कर दुबई को आर्थिक संकट से उबारने में मदद करेगा। तभी दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी इमारत [828 मीटर] के उद्घाटन समारोह के चंद मिनट पहले ही दुबई के शासक शेख मुहम्मद बिन राशिद अल-मखतूम ने बुर्ज दुबई को शेख खलीफा को समर्पित कर दिया। हालांकि शेख खलीफा उद्घाटन समारोह में मौजूद नहीं थे।

मोहयाल सभा पानीपत जनवरी माह की बैठक

मोहयाल सभा पानीपत की मासिक बैठक प्रधान श्री कैलाश वैद जी की अध्यक्षता में संपन्न हुई । इस मौके पर लखनऊ से पधारे इतिहासकार तथा अन्य विषयों के जानकार श्री पवन बक्शी जी को सम्मानित किया गया.
पवन बक्शी जी पिछले कई वर्षो से राजा-महाराजाओं के वंश तथा इतिहास पर विस्तृत शोध के बाद किताबें लिख रहे हैं। निकट भविष्य में उनका इरादा मोहयालों पर भी किताब लिखने का हैं । उनका मानना है कि अभी तक इस क्षेत्र में ज्यादा कार्य नहीं हो पाया है . इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए उन्होंने डॉ० अशोक लव जी को एक श्रेष्ठ कवि और शिक्षाविद के साथ-साथ नेक इन्सान भी बताया. उन्होंने कहा कि समय-समय पर मेरी डा. लव से अनेक विषयों पर मेरी चर्चा होती रहती है .
पानीपत सभा ने एक प्रस्ताव पारित करके अशोक लव जी की माता जी श्रीमती कृष्णा लव जी के निधन पर शोक प्रकट किया तथा उनकी स्मृति में दो मिनट का मौन रखा गया.
इस अवसर पर सर्व श्री ऋत मोहन, भूपिंदर दत्ता , बृजमोहन छिब्बर , जीतेन्द्र मेहता, गड्डू बाली, नरिंदर छिब्बर के इलावा बड़ी संख्या में मोहयाल भाई बहन उपस्थित थे।

Legends say that the great saint, Vashishta was born as the result of Lord Brahma`s will power. He was one of the greatest ascetics of his time, who dedicated his entire life for the welfare of the world. The unique characteristic of saint Vashishta was that he was never a hermit, like most of the other saints. The only time he had his hermitage, was when he used to go to the banks of the River Saraswati. He had the habit of imparting the Vedic knowledge to his numerous disciples on the banks of the River Saraswati and there was a regular performance of several holy sacrifices for the good of the world was performed, in the hermitage. One of the greatest strengths of Vashishta was the merit earned by these performances of tapasya. He was a learned man and he always loved peace. He also became successful to conquer his desire and anger and he was the priest to Dashratha and also Rama. Vashishta had a great intelligence and thousands of the verses in the `Rig-Veda` were composed by him. Vashishta also wrote a pamphlet named as the `Vasishta Smriti` and the pamphlet was written on dharma righteousness. He also composed another treatise named the `Vashishta Ramayana`. Vashishta had the belief that the divine and individual efforts were very necessary for achieving anything in this world. According to him, the habit of laziness is actually a disease that is responsible to bring unhappiness in a man`s life.

Mother Nature : The embodiment of God

In India, the sun is not considered some inert ball of gas, but Surya Deva—the Sun God. The earth is Bhumi Devi—the Earth Goddess. Similarly named are the rivers, mountains and trees. India’s culture is one wherein everything one sees serves as a reminder of the all-pervasive nature of the Divine. At its heart, this perspective is not polytheistic, but an acknowledgement that all names and forms are but various manifestations of the one all-pervasive consciousness that serves as the substratum of creation.

When we come to see a river as God, how will we dump toxic waste into it? When we see trees as manifestations of the Lord, how will we disseminate our forests? When we see the very air itself as Vayu Deva, how will we allow poisonous fumes from factories to fill it?
When we see Mother Nature as the embodiment of God, we will automatically serve and protect her.

खतरनाक है एग्जिमा : इलाज करवाएं

त्वचा पर पड़ने वाले लाल-सफेद चकत्ते, जिनमें तेज खुजली भी होती है, एक्जिमा कहे जाते हैं। आम तौर पर इसको 'डरमेटाइटिस' भी कहा जाता है। इस अवस्था में त्वचा काफी खुश्क हो जाती है और उसमें खुजली होने लगती है। त्चचा में नमी की कमी से ये बीमारी उत्पन्न होती है।

ये समस्या किसी भी मौसम में हो सकती है। बच्चे भी धूल-मिट्टी में खेलने के कारण इस बीमारी की चपेट में आसानी से आ जाते हैं। ये संक्रामक बीमारी नहीं है। इसे आसानी से रोका जा सकता है। इसके लक्षण अलग-अलग लोगों में अलग-अलग तरीके से उत्पन्न होते हैं।

इसमें त्वचा में खुजलाने के कारण लाल चकत्ते पड़ जाते हैं। यह अक्सर माथे, कोहनी, घुटने और गर्दन पर उत्पन्न होती है। कुछ वैज्ञानिकों का यह भी मानना है कि यह बीमारी वंशानुगत होती है। आज हम इसके बचाव और उपचार के बारे में आपको बताएंगे:

कैसे करें बचाव:

इसके लिए अत्यधिक पसीने और अत्यधिक ऊष्मा से बचें। बहुत ज्यादा सोडे वाले साबुन का प्रयोग करने की बजाय सौम्य साबुन का इस्तेमाल करें। सर्दियों में एसी और रूम हीटर से दूर से गर्मी लें। नहाने में त्चचा को ज्यादा न रगड़ें। बीमारी हो जाने पर सूती कपड़े पहनें।

उपचार:

बच्चों में ये बीमारी अक्सर हो जाती है। इसलिए उन्हें ज्यादा गरम पानी से नहलाने की बजाय हल्के गुनगुने पानी से नहलाएं। नहाने के पानी में कुछ बूंदें तेल की डाल लें। छोटे बच्चों की तेल से प्रतिदिन मालिश करें। जिससे उनकी त्वचा में नमी बनी रहे। घर से बाहर माश्चराइजर लगाकर ही निकलें। त्वचा अधिक रूखी होने पर दिन में तीन से चार बार माश्चराइजर लगाएं। गंभीर समस्या हो जाने पर त्वचा विशेषज्ञ से सलाह लें।

The gift of insults by Paulo Coelho

Near Tokyo lived a great Samurai warrior, now old, who decided to teach Zen Buddhism to young people. In spite of his age, the legend was that he could defeat any adversary.

One afternoon, a warrior – known for his complete lack of scruples – arrived there. He was famous for using techniques of provocation: he waited until his adversary made the first move and, being gifted with an enviable intelligence in order to repair any mistakes made, he counterattacked with fulminating speed.

The young and impatient warrior had never lost a fight. Hearing of the Samurai’s reputation, he had come to defeat him, and increase his fame.

All the students were against the idea, but the old man accepted the challenge.

All gathered on the town square, and the young man started insulting the old master. He threw a few rocks in his direction, spat in his face, shouted every insult under the sun – he even insulted his ancestors. For hours, he did everything to provoke him, but the old man remained impassive. At the end of the afternoon, by now feeling exhausted and humiliated, the impetuous warrior left.

Disappointed by the fact that the master had received so many insults and provocations, the students asked:

– How could you bear such indignity? Why didn’t you use your sword, even knowing you might lose the fight, instead of displaying your cowardice in front of us all?

– If someone comes to you with a gift, and you do not accept it, who does the gift belong to? – asked the Samurai.

– He who tried to deliver it – replied one of his disciples.

– The same goes for envy, anger and insults – said the master.
– When they are not accepted, they continue to belong to the one who carried them.

कर्बला : दत्त मोहयालों का बलिदान

At the time of the war at Karbala,fought in 681 AD, which led to the divide of the Muslim race intoSunnis and Shias, Rahib Sidh Datt was a highly esteemed figure of Arabia due to his close relations with the family of Prophet Mohammed. When Ali, the fourth Caliph,( the son-in-law of the Prophet) was murdered his younger son,Hussain, came out to oppose the new Caliph,Yazid-ibin-Movia. The vastly superior forces of Yazid, at Karbala surrounded his force consisting of 200 men. In the war, when no Muslim king came to his help, Rahib fought on the side of Hussain and sacrificed his seven sons in the bloody war. Hussain was fatally wounded by Shamer, the commander of Yazid, and died of thirst in the desert on the tenth day of Moharram. Rahib chased the murderers as they ran with the severed head of Hussain, upto Kufa. Later, the head was carried to Damascus and finally buried with the rest of the body at Karbala.The Shia disciples of Imam Hussain and the valiant Datts did not lay down their arms till they saw the end of Yazid who could rule for just 40 days. Later on, when the Sunnis let loose an orgy of vendetta on the Shias and the followers of Rahib, the latter who was already overwhelmed with grief due to the slaughter of seven sons, left Arabia in 728 AD and migrated to Afghanistan via Iran and Turkistan.

The kith and kin of Rahib on their arrival in India were received with great hospitality by the native mohyals. After wandering over places, they settled near Nankana Sahib in district Sheikhupura in Pakistan. It was here that in the closing decades of the 10 th centuty that an interesting incident took place involving one peer called Wahun-a trickster chess player, and Shiv Datt-the helmsmam of the Datts. Wahun was known for his knack of invariably winning the games. According to a bet fixed by him, the loser would either pay the price with his head or embrace Islam. In this wasy he converted a large no of Hndus to Muslim faith till he met his match in Shiv Datt. He challanged the peer to a game of chess and defeate him three times in a row, thereby claiming the heads of his wife and 2 sons as per the stakes. However out of sheer magnanamity, Shiv Datt pardones their life. When Wahun came to know that one of the ancestors of Shiv Datt had sacrifised his 7 sons for the sake of the Prophet in the battle of Karbala, he took a solemn vow that in future he would never convert any Hindu by coercion to Islam. It was on this occasion that the peer echoed the famous words ‘ Wah Datt Sultan, Hindu ka dharam musalman ka iman ‘.

IVF - Test tube baby

Anything which occurs outside the body is called in vitro and when fertilization of egg with sperm occurs outside the body it is called "IN VITRO FERTILIZATION". The first In Vitro fertilization was done in the test tube and that is why it is popularly known as Test tube Baby. The process of fertilization which normally in fallopian tube of the woman and the fertilized egg than moves into the uterus of the woman. It an implants there in to the uterus and developed into the baby. When for some reason this process of fertilization cannot take place naturally or sperm and egg cannot be transported naturally to the tube or from the tube to the uterus or either is egg having some problem or the sperm. Some problem in fertilization during test tube baby process we need to asses the fertilization to help fertilization we take out of the egg from the wife of egg from the woman's ovary and in control lab and environment we fertilized egg with the help of sperm of her male partner. After fertilization the fertilized egg are cultured into the control laboratory environment to form pre-embryos and this pre-embryos are then transferred back into the uterus of the woman. If they implant and grow become the pregnancy, and hence test tube baby is most convenient process.

IVF - Step by Step

Preliminary testing

This includes first consultation, blood tests culture if necessary, hysteroscopy, D21 visit i.e. mock transfer trial, semen freezing and serum progesterone. First consultation: We will complete a history and physical examination of both partners. Transvaginal sonography of female partner and semen examination of male partner and culture of it, if necessary. It is helpful to bring of your old medical reports, if available. Base line blood investigation: This includes D3 FSH, LH, PRL, TSH, Major pre operative profile and other special blood investigations if necessary This will help us to choose best stimulation (Medication) protocol to complete your IVF cycles. Hysteroscopy: If you have previously had a hysteroscopy please bring their reports. This test must be scheduled to be completed on days 5-11 of the menstrual cycle. Menstruation must be absent for this test to be done. D21 visit: - Semen freezing - Mock transfer trial - Serum progesterone - TVS Semen freezing: It is necessary to freeze a semen specimen before your IVF cycle starts. This sample is used only as an emergency back up for the day of retrieval. We prefer to inseminate the eggs with fresh semen if possible. We will discard the sample after completion of cycle except if you choose to have another IVF cycle. Transvaginal sonography will tell us thickness of endometrium on D21. Serum progesterone level estimation. Mock transfer trial: Embryo transfer is very important procedure and it is usually done without anesthesia so, on day 21 we will do mock embryo transfer to anticipate any difficulty and solution far it before actual transfer. It is painless procedure.

Development of oocytes (Eggs)

It is necessary to stimulate the ovary to produce multiple follicle (the sac that contains the egg), in order to improve your chances of a successful outcome from an IVF cycle. After the consult with the doctor, you will receive prescription for a specific type of medication stimulation protocol. There are many different medication protocols that the doctor may prescribe for you. This decision is based on factors such as your age, infertility history, a past response to these medications, and a base line FSH level. The fertility medications that are necessary to stimulate the ovary are unfortunately all injectable medications. Doctor and nurse will explain you the dosage and method of administration. Fertility Medication If we have more than one egg we have better chance of pregnancy of in IVF cycle. To get more eggs we stimulate the ovaries with stimulation drugs called gonadotrophins. Gonadotrophins can be manufactured from urine or by recombinant DNA technology. Appropriate type of gonadotrophins and dose of administration are selected for individual patients. Available gonadotrophins include HMG, FSH and recombinant FSH manufactured by different pharmaceuticals. Side effect of Fertility medication: Over stimulation of the ovary, It can occur to varying degrees: mild, moderate or severe. Multiple births: The risk of conceiving a multiple pregnancy during and IVF cycle is dependent upon your age, response to the medications, the quality of the embryos, the number of embryos replaced into the uterus and other unforeseen factors are considered when judging your specific risk of multiple births. Common complaints: Pain at the injection site, headaches and fatigue. Special note: You may have read reports that fertility drugs increase the risk of ovarian cancer. To date there are no conclusive studies that identify an association between taking fertility drugs and ovarian cancer. GnRH analog (Lupride) This medication is administered by subcutaneous injection. It is given to prevent premature release of the oocytes (eggs). Side effects may include: localized skin reaction, allergic reaction, headaches, hot flashes and mood swings. If your scheduled menstruation is late while on Lupron, you should have a pregnancy test. HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) You will be given instruction for the exact time of this injection. It is generally taken 34-36 hours prior to the egg retrieval. This medication should be injected into the muscle. This medication completes the maturation of the egg. Progesterone You will begin talking this naturally occurring hormone on the next to egg retrieval. This medication, assist the embryo to attach to the uterus. The side effects that have been reported include: breast tenderness, headache, nausea, fluid retention, fatigue, mood swings, depression, pain at the site of injection (in the case of injectable progesterone). Vaginal itching and irritation (in the case of vaginal form). If you have a history of blood clots or thrombophlebitis you should alert the medical staff.

Oocyte (egg) retrieval

The egg collection process (retrieval) is usually accomplished using the Ultrasound-guided trans vaginal method. Other methods of retrieving oocyte that are rarely utilized in our practice but are sometimes necessary, include Laparoscopy or a Trans-Abdominal approach. This ultrasound-guided trans vaginal method of egg retrieval allows this procedure to be done in an out patient setting. A vaginal ultrasound allows for visualization of both ovaries. A needle is inserted through the vaginal wall in the ovary. Each follicle is punctured individually and the fluid containing the egg is examined by the embryologist under the microscope until the egg is found. The duration of this procedure is usually less than 45 minutes. This procedure is done under general anesthesia.

Sperm collection and insemination

While the egg retrieval is underway, you will be notified by the andrology/embryology staff that a sperm sample is needed. The specimen will be processed in our laboratory and prepared for egg insemination. Please discuss with the embryology staff if any question or concern you may have prior to the day of egg retrieval. Frozen specimen collected will be used only in case of emergency (illness, inability to procedure a specimen etc.)

Incubation and fertilization of oocytes (eggs)

The eggs and sperm will be placed together in a special culture fluid and kept in incubators in our laboratory. This procedure is called insemination.

Formation and cleavage of embryos

The eggs will be examined 16-20 hours after insemination for signs of fertilization. If fertilization occurs, the fertilized eggs are now described as pre-embryos or zygotes. When they divide to at least 2 cells they are called embryos. The laboratory environment is conducive for fertilization to occur, however, it cannot be guaranteed that fertilization will occur. Typically, 60% of the eggs retrieved will be fertilized. This percentage may be higher or lower depending on each couple.

Embryo transfer

Embry transfer (ET) usually occurs forty eight to seventy two hours post retrieval. The time of transfer will be designated by the IVF staff. The embryo(s) that is (are) assessed to be developing normally will be considered for transfer. Although a recommendation (3-5 embryos) will be made regarding the number to transfer, the final decision resides with the couple and the doctor. Transferring multiple embryos may result in the growth of more than one foetus. If you have extra embryos after the transfer, they will be cryopreserved if they have demonstrated appropriate development. The method used for transferring embryos is similar to that of the mock transfer. ET is performed by inserting a small catheter through the cervical opening into the uterine cavity. The embryo transfer is usually a painless procedure. There is a recommended rest period after the transfer. You will be given specific instruction prior to the transfer regarding your medications, future testing dates and activity restrictions. Within 13 days post-transfer, hormonal levels and a pregnancy test will be done. If a pregnancy has occurred, further blood testing blood work and ultrasound will be required to assess normal progression.

Cropreservation (freezing) programme

The purpose of embryo freezing programme is to give a couple participating in the IVF programme the best chance to achieve a pregnancy with a maximum of safety. At the end of an IVF cycle there are often multiple embryos available for transfer. It has been found that transferring more than four embryos caries a significant risk of multiple pregnancies, while it does not increase the singleton pregnancy rate proportionately. The advantage of cryopreservation is that there may be an increased chance of pregnancy without the necessity of multiple stimulation cycles and oocyte retrievals. The frozen embryo transfer takes place in an identical manner to a fresh embryo transfer. Embryo selected for cryopreservation will be frozen up to three days after the egg retrieval. The embryos will be placed in a cryopreserved media and frozen in a step-wise manner. At the end of the cryopreservation procedure the embryos will be stored frozen in tanks filled with liquid nitrogen. Brought back to normal life. There is no guarantee of the survival of human cryopreserved thawed embryos. If they have not survived (as seen at the time of thawing), they will not be transferred. We consider couples whose eggs and sperm become an embryo to be the owners and persons who control their embryos in the test tube baby process. However, there is a time limit on this ownership and control.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने भारत में सरोगेसी सिस्टम [बच्चा पैदा करने के लिए कोख किराये पर लेना] के बढ़ते चलन से उपजी समस्याओं को निपटाने के लिए कानून बनाने की जरूरत पर बल दिया है। भारत में किराये की कोख से जन्मे जर्मन दंपती के जुड़वा बच्चों को पासपोर्ट जारी करने के विवाद पर मंगलवार को सुनवाई के दौरान हुए कोर्ट ने यह बात कही।

अदालत ने इस पर चिंता जताते हुए कहा कि यह दो बच्चों की ही समस्या नहीं है, बल्कि सामाजिक और मानवीय समस्या है। उपलब्ध रिकार्ड के आधार पर ही इस मामले की सुनवाई होगी।

कोर्ट ने बच्चों को जर्मनी ले जाने के लिए पासपोर्ट की मांग कर रहे पिता जान ब्लाज से कहा कि वह बुधवार, 16 दिसंबर तक हलफनामा दाखिल कर बताएं कि क्या बच्चों को पासपोर्ट जारी करने से जर्मन अथारिटी उन्हें नागरिकता दे देगी। उनसे यह भी बताने को कहा कि क्या वह गोद लेने की प्रक्रिया अपनाने को तैयार हैं। मामले की अगली सुनवाई गुरुवार को होगी।

इससे पहले केंद्र सरकार की ओर से पेश सालीसीटर जनरल गोपाल सुब्रमण्यम ने कहा कि याचिकाकर्ता भारतीय पासपोर्ट इस्तेमाल करके सिर्फ बच्चों को देश के बाहर ले जाना चाहता है। वह बच्चों की भारतीय नागरिकता में कतई रुचि नहीं रखता। यह कैसे हो सकता है कि एक विदेशी नागरिक भारत आकर सरोगेसी का करार करे और बच्चों के जन्म के बाद उन्हें विदेश ले जाए। आखिर ये लोग बच्चे गोद लेने की प्रक्रिया क्यों नहीं अपनाते। उसमें कम से कम बच्चे के हित तो सुरक्षित रहते हैं। क्या गारंटी है कि सरोगेसी के जरिये जन्मे बच्चों से विदेश में मजदूरी नहीं कराई जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि समस्या भारतीय दंपतियों के साथ नहीं है, विदेशी नागरिकों के साथ है क्योंकि उनके बच्चों की नागरिकता का मुद्दा आता है। बच्चों को स्टेटलेस यानी नागरिकता विहीन कैसे छोड़ा जा सकता है।

सुब्रमण्यम ने कहा कि उन्हें इन दो बच्चों को यात्रा दस्तावेज जारी करने पर कोई आपत्तिनहीं है, बल्कि इसके लिए उन्होंने मंत्रालय से बात भी की है। पर आगे की कार्रवाई के लिए नियम तय होना ही चाहिए। वैसे भी इस मामले में याचिकाकर्ता को मालूम था कि जर्मनी का स्थानीय कानून सरोगेसी को मान्यता नहीं देता है, फिर भी उसने सरोगेसी करार किया।

जान के वकील का कहना था कि सिर्फ बच्चों को जर्मनी ले जाने के लिए दस्तावेज जारी कर दिये जाएं, ताकि वहां आवेदन किया जा सके।

पत्नी श्रीमती सरला भीमवाल का गत तीन दिसंबर,२००९ को अहमदाबाद में
निधन हो गया . वह पिछले तीन- चार माह अहमदाबाद में बीमार चल रही थी.उनकी
रसम पगड़ी १३ दिसंबर ,2009 को भीमवाल परिवार के पैत्रिक शहर
अबोहर(पंजाब) में हुई . जिसमे की रिश्ते दारों के आलावा बड़ी संख्या में
सभायों के प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया .पानीपत मोह्यल की मासिक बैठक में
विनम्र श्रधांजलि दी गयी . भीमवाल जी की तरह ही वह एक कट्टर मोह्याल रही
. पानीपत के स्त्री विंग को चलने में विशेष योगदान रहा.अपने तीनो बेटों
की शादी उन्होंने मोह्यल परिवारों में ही की. वह एक नेक तथा कर्मठ
महिलाथी.
