भीमवाल मोहयालों के गोत्र ऋषि कौशल

.मोहयाल ब्राह्मणों की भीमवाल जाति के गोत्र ऋषि 'कौशल' हैं. वे पंजाब के सारस्वत ब्राह्मणों के भी गोत्र ऋषि हैं. ये ब्राह्मण भगवान ब्रह्मा के मानस पुत्र हिरण्याभ कौशल ऋषि के वंशज हैं. ऋषि कौशल के शिष्य याज्ञवल्क्य ऋषि थे. कौशल गोत्र के ब्राह्मण उत्तर भारत के शासक भी थे. श्रीमदभागवत पुराण में ऋषि कौशल का उल्लेख हुआ है. कहा जाता है कि ये ब्राह्मण मूलतः कश्मीर के रहने वाले थे जो पंजाब और वर्तमान हरियाणा में बस गए. ये ज्योतिष और अध्यात्म के ज्ञाता  और गुरु थे. ये ज़मींदार भी थे. 
Khatri Kaushal : Khatris also use Kaushal as their Gotra.Dhai Ghar (meaning two and a half houses)(Kakkar)'s, Malhotra's, Kapoor's, Kurichh's, Khanna (name) and Gulla, Chopra's, Kesar, Sehgal's, Kundra's and Dhussa'ss, BHASIN have the gotra Kaushal.

Vaishya Kaushal : This community inhabits Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, M.P., Gujarat – and some parts of Nepal. Awadh Baniyan, also known as Kaushal, is a sub-cast of Vaisya. The origin of this caste is from Awadh, now known as Ayodhya. Kaushal and Gupta are common surnames in this community. The main profession of this community includes agriculture and business.
Rajput Kaushal : Kaushal is a name for Raghuvanshi clan of Suryavanshi lineage. They are considered as the descendent's of Lord Rama. Lord Rama was sometimes called as Kaushalendra Rama and hence the Kaushal lineage came into existence. Kaushal's are found very rare and belongs to higher caste and royal families of rajputs in some areas. Kaushal's were traditionally renowned for their knowledge of astrology and spiritual healing and God fearing.
