Vishisht Seva Medal toMaj. Vishal Bakshi

Maj. Vishal Bakshi has been awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal for distinguished service to the Territorial Army on the eve of 61^st Republic Day.

For his meritorious service with the Territorial Army, in 2004, he was honored with a commendation from the Chief of Army Staff.

An alumnus from Modern School New Delhi and Hansraj College - Delhi University, he was commissioned into the Indian Territorial Army, in 1998. A business management graduate (MBA) from the prestigious ‘Institute of Management Technology’ Ghaziabad, he is the Managing Director of ‘V.R. Industries Pvt. Ltd’, a company with diversified interests and activities such as manufacturing, trading, imports & brand development.

Under the aegis of ‘V.R. Industries’ are several brands like ‘Admiral’ household detergents, ‘8AM’ & ‘Golden Gate’ breakfast cereals, dry fruits, packaged drinking water and others.

An avid golfer, Maj. Vishal Bakshi is multi-faceted and has also had exposure with bollywood, as an actor.

He is planning to make a film on the Territorial Army this year.

Maj. Vishal Bakshi is a true Mohyal and is proud of the Mohyal fraternity.

He is the son of Maj.S.K Bakshi who is serving as Chief Executive Officer of the House of Mohan Meakins. Maj.S.K Bakshi is a benevolent & dynamic Mohyal. He is Son of Late Bakshi T.R Chhibber who served distinguishably in Northren Railways as an Engineer after Partition hailing from Gujrawalan (Pakistan).
