वहा इसलिए जाते है की हमें हमारे, मुसीबत का पता चल गया, की हे भगवान अब हमारी रक्षा कर |
हम मांग को प्रार्थना कहते है,क्या प्रार्थना की? मैंने भगवान से ये माँगा, वो माँगा
हमें पता ही नहीं चलता की हम भगवान से मांग क्या रहे है??
जरुरत से ज्यादा संसार की वस्तुवे मांगना जहर मांगना है, और एक माँ अपने बच्चो को जहर कैसे दे देंगी?? उन्ही वस्तुओ में, इच्छाओ में जीव फस जाता है, फिर 84 का चक्कइस मांग वाली प्रार्थना में "मै" उपस्थित होता है, "मुझे दे दे" वहा वो भगवान को अपने से अलग जानता है, मांग पे जोर ज्यादा होता है|
प्रार्थना का मतलब निःस्वार्थता,प्रेम है और
"प्रेम गली अति साकरी, जा में दो न समाये" प्रेम में तो एक ही होता है, मांग नहीं होती, सिर्फ समर्पण होता है|
मानव जीवन सिर्फ और सिर्फ, सदगुरु की शरण जाके, नामदान की दौलत प्राप्त करके, आत्मा का साक्षात्कार करने के लिये है
"सतगुरु की महिमा अनंत, अनंत किया उपगार
लोचन अनंत उघाड़िया, अनंत-दिखावणहार."

HOW THE LORD MADE 'MILITARY WIFE'
The good lord was creating a model for military wives and was into his sixth day overtime when an angel appeared. She said, "Lord, you seem to be having a lot of trouble with this one. What's wrong with the standard model?"
The Lord replied, "Have you seen the species on the order? She has to be completely independent, possess the qualities of both father and mother, be perfect hostess to four or forty at an hour's notice, run on black coffee, handle every emergency imaginable without a manual, be able to carry on cheerfully even if she is pregnant and suffering from flu, and she must be willing to move to a new location twenty times in 30 yrs. And oh she must have six pairs of hands."
The angel shook her head. "Six pairs of hands? No way."
The Lord continued, "Don't worry, we will make other military wives help her. And we will give her an unusually strong heart so it can swell with pride in her husband's achievements, sustain the pain of separations, beat soundly when it is overworked and tired, and be large enough to say 'I understand' when she doesn't and say 'I love you' regardless."
"Lord," said the angel, touching his arm gently, "go to bed and get some rest, you can finish this tomorrow."
"I can't stop now," said the Lord, " I am so close to creating something unique. Already this model heals herself when she is sick, can put up six unexpected guests for the weekend, wave goodbye to her husband from a pier, a runway or a depot and understand why it's important that he leaves."
The angel circled the model of the military wife, looked at it closely and sighed, "It looks fine, but it's too soft."
"She might look soft," replied the Lord, "But she has the strength of a lion. You would not believe what she can endure."
Finally, the angel bent over and ran her finger across the cheek of the Lord's creation. "There's a leak," she announced. "Something is wrong with the construction. I am not surprised that it has cracked. You are trying to put too much into this model."
The Lord appeared offended at the angel's lack of confidence. "What you see is not a leak," he said, "It's a tear."
"A tear? What is it there for?" asked the angel.
The Lord replied, " It's for joy, sadness, pain, disappointment, loneliness, pride and a dedication to all the values that she and her husband hold dear."
"You are a genius," exclaimed the angel.The Lord looked puzzled and replied, "I didn't put it there."

| serves 8 to 10 | sprep time: 10 minute | bake time: 45 minutes |
| cake 1 package Duncan Hines yellow cake mix 1 package Jello Instant Vanilla Pudding (see note) 4 eggs, lightly beaten 3/4 cup canola oil 3/4 cup sherry (any kind) 2 tablespoons poppy seeds or 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg powdered sugar or frosting (below) frosting (optional) 1 stick (4 ounces) butter, softened 1 package powdered sugar 1/4 cup sherry | Preheat an oven to 350°. Grease a Bundt pan or tube pan. With an electric mixer, beat cake ingredients for 2 minutes at medium speed. Pour into pan and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a rack for 15 minutes, then turn out cake while still warm (or it will stick to pan). Dust with powdered sugar or coat with frosting. To make the frosting, beat the ingredients together until smooth. As Margaret wrote: “we never did the frosting, but it does give a reason to bring the sherry bottle back out.” | |
